Two workers were killed and nine others injured after a reactor blast triggered a fire at a pharmaceutical unit in Telangana’s Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district late Friday night, police said.The incident took place at a pharma company in Pochampally mandal while workers were changing shifts, according to police.“Two persons died. Nine people were injured, including two who suffered more than 50 per cent burns while seven sustained minor injuries”, a police official told PTI.The injured workers were admitted to different hospitals for treatment, the official said.The blast triggered a fire at the unit, which was later brought under control by the Fire Department.Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
